2024年、いねむりポケモン「カビゴン」とコラボレーションした２つの個展が話題に。CHRISの代名詞でもある独自の表現「デコラージュ技法」により、いねむりポケモン「カビゴン」を新たなスタイルで描き出した。
これまでの作品には、ファッション誌のカバーガールや架空のベースボールチームをモチーフとした制作がある。素材として雑誌を使い、ページや表紙を破いて再構築する自身の「デコラージュ技法」と共に、モチーフの表情をあえて描き込まず匿名性を持たせるなど、ポップな表現の背景には明確なコンセプトやストーリーがあり、その高いクオリティでファン層を拡大している。

In 2024, two solo exhibitions collaborating with the Sleeping Pokémon "Snorlax" became a hot topic. Through CHRIS's signature technique of "decollage," he depicted the Sleeping Pokémon "Snorlax" in a completely new style.
Also, his past works are based on fashion magazine cover girls and fictitious baseball teams. He uses magazines as materials and specializes in the decollage technique of tearing pages and covers and reconstructing them. There is a clear concept and story in the background of his pop expression, such as intentionally keeping the motifs anonymous.
