This photo book consists of a photo series "Gesshoku," which Nobuyuki Wakabayashi has shown at his first solo-exhibition i n 1962. The photographs were taken while he was 16 to 21 years old, at the area of "Akasen," where the prostitution was widely spread. The atmosphere of the town where men and women exchange glances can be felt close.
