三島剛 Go Mishima
1924-1989
昭和を生きた日本のゲイ・エロティックアーティスト。根本幸雄名義で60年代から同人誌『アドニス』で作品を投稿。のちに作家・三島由紀夫から”三島剛”の名をもらい、日本初の商業ゲイ雑誌『薔薇族』や日本を代表するゲイ雑誌『さぶ』のグラビア、挿し絵を中心に活躍。第二書房より『三島 剛 画集・若者』を刊行する。没後、本人の実像を知るのは限られた極わずかな人たちといわれている。
A Japanese gay erotic artist active during the Shōwa era. Under the name Yukio Nemoto, he began contributing to the dōjinshi magazine Adonis in the 1960s. Later, he received the name “Go Mishima” from the writer Yukio Mishima and became known for his gravure images and illustrations in Barazoku, Japan’s first commercial gay magazine, and Sabu, a leading gay magazine in Japan. His art book Go Mishima: Young Men was published by Daini Shobō. After his death, only a very small number of people are said to have known his true identity.
